I have a complicated history with capri pants.  We basically don’t get along but I thought I would seize the day and carpe the capris one more time since my sister found a pair of Sandwich capris in my size at VV Boutique!

The tailoring and details on Sandwich pieces are always impeccable and these pants were comfortable, but…

The capris are the perfect pairing with this Paris scarf I recently scored at the Covenenant Christian School annual fundraiser.

I'm pretty sure wearing white during the last week of school makes me some kind of badass.

I thrifted this necklace long before the capris showed up on my doorstep. Sometimes matchy matchy is in the thrifting works!

I don’t know.  These capris might be as good as they come so even if they’re not perfect, they give me a pants option in the summer should I forget to shave my legs every last skirt or dress I own be in the laundry.

Looking down minimizes the cartoon ankles.
Maybe capris are all about perspective!

What do YOU think?  Should I carpe these capris or pass them along* to a shorter friend?!

 

(*I’m keeping the necklace and the shoes and the scarf and the eyes.)

    SpiritedThriftr I love the capris and outfit but one suggestion: I think your tank top is too long and loose for the overall balance.

    Capris are a fine line for me. Too short is not a good look for me and I tend to prefer the crop length instead (and I’m 5’6″). I like skirts and dresses much better for me and you! 🙂

    Dear Nicole, people are looking at your blue eyes, your warm smile, your always perfect hair and they are listening to a funny story. I didn’t even know you had ankles! Who looks down there anyways? And if they did happen to gaze downward, they are probably thinking they wish they had skinny ankles too. I do.

    I think these Capris look cute on you. That being said, I like my capris to be longer (20″ inseam).

    Thanks! These have a 25″ inseam!! I like an ankle crop length and might just have to stick with that!

    Thanks Amy Melby. I prefer ankle crops but even those are hard to find. Good excuse to thrift a couple more dresses, because… fresh out!
