I have a complicated history with capri pants. We basically don’t get along but I thought I would seize the day and carpe the capris one more time since my sister found a pair of Sandwich capris in my size at VV Boutique!
The tailoring and details on Sandwich pieces are always impeccable and these pants were comfortable, but…
Now all I can think about is the Sponge Bob theme song. Now you are too, you’re welcome.
I don’t know. These capris might be as good as they come so even if they’re not perfect, they give me a pants option in the summer should I forget to shave my legs every last skirt or dress I own be in the laundry.
What do YOU think? Should I carpe these capris or pass them along* to a shorter friend?!
(*I’m keeping the necklace and the shoes and the scarf and the eyes.)
SpiritedThriftr I love the capris and outfit but one suggestion: I think your tank top is too long and loose for the overall balance.

Capris are a fine line for me. Too short is not a good look for me and I tend to prefer the crop length instead (and I’m 5’6″). I like skirts and dresses much better for me and you! 🙂

Dear Nicole, people are looking at your blue eyes, your warm smile, your always perfect hair and they are listening to a funny story. I didn’t even know you had ankles! Who looks down there anyways? And if they did happen to gaze downward, they are probably thinking they wish they had skinny ankles too. I do.

KeepItRealJill hmmm good suggestion but there’s the muffin-top issue to consider! I’ll try them w a tighter top and a glass of distractionU0001f377

I think these Capris look cute on you. That being said, I like my capris to be longer (20″ inseam).

You should gift the capris to me 😉

Thanks! These have a 25″ inseam!! I like an ankle crop length and might just have to stick with that!

I also re read my comment and there should have been an “or” in there…

I think I need to go thrift more maxi dresses.

Thanks Amy Melby. I prefer ankle crops but even those are hard to find. Good excuse to thrift a couple more dresses, because… fresh out!
The Spirited Thrifter
I would but they are too big for you!! (but capris look great on you!)

Thrift ALL the maxi dresses!

I think you should pass them on to a shorter friend whose last name starts with K (wong). haha
No, they look great, I don’t know why they make you think of Sponge Bob.
