Here for the BOOs! - The Spirited Thrifter

Happy Halloween! I always enjoy dressing up for Halloween and always thrift my costumes! I always push for a family theme of costumes, but no one listens to me – except my husband. He’s pretty easy-going actually and this year, he even wore women’s slacks, but I’ll get to that in a minute. (If you’re a fan of the show I’m referencing, you already know what’s coming!) We went to a Halloween party over the weekend hosted by our good friends and had a blast! We brought our own jack-o-lantern…

Thanks Karlynn and Shannon for the idea – the BOO’s-O-LANTERN is the best thing ever for the Halloween season! It’s pretty easy to put together if you have a box of wine sitting around ~~getting emptier daily~~ and some stickers or a sharpie. In fact, every house should have one for the parents out trick-or-treating! Er, walking around trick-or-treating.

*Best costume of the night IMHO went to Dan and his balloons, not adequately pictured here but as others commented, they were very firm for his age.*

Apparently, Jeremy wanted in on the lady-slacks action because later in the evening, he proved he can fit into his MIL's old flare jeans - the only one who could even get them up.
