I have been in the wild for a week without cell service, dealing with near constant rain, mosquitoes and an excessive number of SLUGS.  Obv I needed a therapeutic thrift stop as soon as I returned to civilization!  I hit the Kelowna Value Village and though I didn’t have enough time to do a thorough browse, I found a couple of things off my thrift-hunting list!

I don’t exactly need another casual camping dress but liked the colour of this! The embroidered piece however did not leave enough to the imagination, so I left it behind.

I loved this Club Monaco dress with pockets – such luxurious fabric! Alas it was just too short for me to wear on its own and was priced quite high at $20 so I left it behind for some cute petite gal to discover!

Every once in a while, I try on a jumpsuit, just to remind myself that not all trends are meant for all women.  Especially *this* jumpsuit; it’s meant for no one.

This Soya Concept was tagged as an 11/12 but upon closer inspection, the actual tag said size small. I wish I had read that before trying it on and saved myself a “what the???” moment.

This dress was oh so close to coming home with me, but it was a bit too big and unflattering from behind, which is a shame since I have very few dresses. 😜

Now, please excuse the unfortunate Sponge-Bob-Square-Pants angle, but I have been searching for denim culottes for a long time and these RW & Company pair fit the bill for $7!

A pretty skirt indeed but not quite special enough to join my collection.  No offence.

An authentic Dolce & Gabbana black skirt with pockets??!!! Yessss!!! Tagged size 10… I don’t think so! (The size was cut out of the skirt – apparently some size 6 woman didn’t want anyone to know 😐)

I am hunting for a denim midi skirt since determining that the one I got in Banff will not accommodate my post air-cast figure. This one was close but no pockets, and I have thrifting faith that I can find exactly what I want!

Vintage midi skirts with pockets, I just can’t quit you!! 😍  Especially when they’re 100% silk, cobalt and $4!

And last but not least, a wrestling ring for two little wrestling-crazy boys! How could I say no?!

Two pieces off my list and images of slugs replaced by images of cobalt and culottes ensembles – that’s a couple of hours well spent!

I may have donated a wrestling ring just like that in Sherwood Park. ..
