Way back when, back before the kids returned to school and I returned to work, back before I started my 6th round of Whole 30, back when I was enjoying wine and everything else edible that passed before my face, I issued the first Tuesday Style Prompt 2016: navy stripes.  Now, for some reason, Facebook simply will not distribute my Tuesday Style Prompt posts.  They reach about 6 people.  So chances are, you missed the Tuesday Style Prompt unless you looked specifically for it.  Stop being like that, Facebook; we are just everyday women trying to bring some style to our everyday lives.  You can always follow the Tuesday Try Pinterest board as a safe bet to always be in the know!  Anyway, there was at least one of us (me) wearing navy stripes yesterday AND today though I only managed to snag one selfie…

Yesterday I wore the Anthro brand Saturday Sunday navy striped dress that I scored for $3.50 at Goodwill’s Boxing Day sale!  This dress is so versatile and can be styled a million ways…

You see, I wanted to wear a little mix-not-match, try something a little different… but truthfully, I was BOILING and my ankles looked like chicken legs.  Go ahead, take a second to scroll back up and verify… see?!!  Besides the obvious solution of finding some thrifted tall navy boots stat, I changed my clothes.

Navy Stripes

I could have kept trying combinations for another hour but had to settle on this because #alwayslate.  Next time, Navy Stripes, next time!
