I set myself a monthly thrifting budget of $50 and every month has been a challenge to stick within the budget! Is it my fault I find so many amazing things?!!!! Sigh. I went a little over budget in September 🙂 so my balance going into October was $49.40. Then I cheated started October’s thrifting early by snagging some burgundy/wine/Merlot/oxblood/whatever-you-want-to-call-them suede booties that I adore!
And in chronological order, here’s where the rest of my $50 went…
So the breakdown, from $49.40:
- Booties $11.90
- Green blouse $4.20
- Black tunic $6
- French connection sweater $7
- Silk colour block top $2
- Necklaces $1
- Ann Taylor tunic $9.10
- Long cardi and bangles FREE
- Alfani dress $9.10
- TOTAL: $50.30
- Balance -$0.90
There you have it! 90 cents over budget again so I will have a grand total of $49.10 for thrifting in November but that doesn’t include something my son bought for HIS Halloween costume that I will inherit as of tomorrow!!
