One Hour Thrift Stop

I ventured out today for a little lunch time sangria, I mean, the year end work luncheon.  (It’s not my fault I’m not on the clock!)  It was great to see all my work peeps AND I had enough time afterwards to make a quick thrift stop and spend an hour in the Salvation Army Thrift Shop!!!  I didn’t even need the wheels!  I wasn’t looking for anything in particular – just wanted to hang out in my happy place!  I scanned most of the ladies’ clothing racks and made a quick pass past the kids’ clothing and then hit the fitting rooms…

Next I tried a few dresses, or in this case "dress." Loved the pockets 'natch but on me, this is a TOP.

Loved this Hinge (Nordstrom brand) maxi skirt and IT FIT *but* I felt it was too similar to my Maeve maxi skirt and would only compete for wears. Adieu Hinge! Hope you find a good home!

Luckily a mustard sweater saved the day!! After camping this past weekend, I was keeping an eye out for cozy camping sweaters and this was PERFECT!!

I could also use a grey hoodie sweater - STRICTLY FOR CAMPING - but this one was a little stretched out in the hem...

And then, like the cherry on top, I found a lightweight striped bunny hug sweater - also perfect for camping! (which is about the only area of my wardrobe that is lacking)

So in one hour, I found two great pieces for $6 each plus a Frozen hoodie for my daughter for $2!  But getting my thrifting feet back under me – that’s priceless!
