March has been a busy fun month! The most exciting March event was the launch of my new site and name thanks to the generous help of Unicorns in the Mist. I’m loving my new name, “The Spirited Thrifter” – so fitting in so many ways! March saw my most popular post of 2015 which also happens to be my most recent post – all about the good, the bad and the BANGS in my hair history! I loved that post because, for me, blogging and Instagramming and tweeting are about more than just thrifted fashion; I’m sharing my story, and my hair history gave me the chance to tell a little more! Stick around and I might just share more, depending on how the Spirit moves me!
Copying Pinterest style has been an absolute blast this month! Fashion should be fun, and March has sure been fun! Here’s a recap of all my March outfits, including one costume party look and one piece I featured twice – can you spot it?!
I started copying pins on March 2nd with my $4.20 J Crew gingham!Style isn’t necessarily about exact copies! Pinspiration leads to interpretation!The pin on the left is in the running for the best March pose!There was outrage on Facebook that I didn’t replicate Dita’s cleavage. Next time!The pink pants outfit was when my boys really clued into what I was up to. “You look just like that girl!” Um, yes, that is my hope.A great blog, Putting Me Together, pinspired me two days in a row!The weather started to warm up and I moved my photo shoots outside!Both of these poses make me laugh every time.I heart colour! (even when it’s not St. Patrick’s Day)Sometimes you gotta stand on the toilet to get the shot you want. #lifeofglamourIn 10 years, I hope to be the picture of calm on the left while my daughter embodies the look on the right!These poses gave me a lot more respect for models and actresses.
