Sweater Weather

It was nice of Alberta Weather to wait for Halloween to be done before snowing; that isn’t always the case.  I woke up to snow Monday morning and knew sweaters and boots and blanket scarves and warm coats were imminent.  Sigh….  I don’t know about you, but I tend to put on a sweater and forget about accessorizing – as if you can’t wear a necklace with a sweater!  Pashaw!  You can and you should!  Hence this week’s Tuesday Try: wear a necklace with your sweater.  There are tons of inspiring pins with every kind of sweater and every kind of necklace – just check out the Tuesday Try Pinterest board for some great examples.  I’m so glad I did because I ended up reaching for a combination I wouldn’t have otherwise considered…

I already know I love the Hispanitas brand from my Hall of Fame score ages ago and when my thrifting angel found these in my size in like-new-condition, I was thrilled!

The pretty details of the shoes and the necklace, the print of the pants, the basic knit sweater – it all works together!  As we get more and more into sweater weather, remember to throw on a necklace to add some style to your sweater!
