Today marks the conclusion of Midi Madness, just in time for me to head to the mountains! I took a poll this morning to decide between a silk and tulle midi, and tulle was the resounding favourite!
Since I wasn’t going to be anywhere near Velcro today, tulle was a safe choice! One of the easiest ways to style a “fancy” piece like this is by pairing it with a simple tee. I needed a new white tee since my dog wrecked my old one and found this one as soon as I stepped into VV Boutique!
You can find all kinds of basic tees thrifted!Turns out wearing a tulle skirt doesn’t instantly transform you into a dancer… but I pretended anyway.Tulle does however turn you into a twirly 5-year-old!And if you have a 5yo photographer, be prepared to twirl and curtsy on command. It’s better to just do what she says. Love the metallic lining under the tulle! After I paid my photographer in gum, I did a shoe swap! (Don’t hate me for my amazing pedicure.)Anne Ross leather slides $9.10
No, I am not still wearing my tulle as I head to the wild but I did feel the tulle was the perfect party-ish end to Midi Madness! Here’s a recap of all the midis…
