If you’re new to The Spirited Thrifter, allow me to introduce something special about Mondays: the “Monday Style Prompt!”  Every weekend, I issue a style prompt for Monday morning – a little something-something to ease the pain of Monday morning and help get the week off to a stylish start… If it happens to also encourage a little weekend thrifting, well, that’s a bonus!  (You’re welcome.)  I post the Monday Style Prompt on Facebook and Twitter, and pin tons of inspiration on my Monday Style Prompt Pinterest board.  This week, the prompt was a sure thing: florals and stripes.  No matter how you mix them, they look fresh, springy and stylish!  Here’s my take on it with an amazing thrift score, an Anthropologie brand wool moto-cardi in a stunning floral print in perfect condition!

I’m sorry, I know you’re jealous.  Don’t be jealous, just go thrifting; sooner or later you too will find your very own Anthropologie treasures!

That’s right, this was a TWO-Anthro-piece outfit!  And both thrifted!!

These beauties were thrifted new-with-tags then passed on to me after spending a year with my friend who pretended they fit her. I don’t blame her.

Of course, I had some Pinspiration since we are still in Pinspired March 2.0!

I will never understand why people don’t wear more accessories.  OBVIOUSLY for my real OOTD, I added an Accessory Trifecta…

I LOVE every single floral-stripe combo I see.  They are a match made in heaven, and even better when they involve Anthropologie and downright amazing when they’re THRIFTED!
