I introduced a new series on The Spirited Thrifter recently: Thrifty Therapists!  I have several rehab med colleagues that are skilled thrifters and their finds are simply too good not to share!  As luck would have it, I had the chance to go thrifting with two of my thrifty therapist friends this past weekend and we all needed it!  A good thrift shop with girlfriends IS cheaper than therapy!

As much as Randa's finds embody her style, this skirt is the epitome of Kim! Lacy, romantic and waiting to be worn with legging and some vintage Frye boots! (p.s., the size on the tag is way off - good reminder to look above and below your size when thrifting!)

Knowing what I know now, I would NEVER pay regular retail for designer denim - there's plenty to be found at consignment and thrift shops!

Thanks girls for doing a “group therapy” session with me!!  I felt so much better afterwards and even with all our items together, it cost less than 45 minutes of real therapy!!  (not that I’m suggesting you forgo that, I’m also a big fan of traditional therapy!!!)  Do you think I could claim “Thrifting Therapy” on my Health Spending Account?!  Anyone?!  Anyone?!  I hereby prescribe 2 hours of Thrifting Therapy for every mother.  Signed (illegibly), Dr. Thrifter.

Good friends, good "therapy," GREAT thrifting!
