I mentioned that I had some pieces waiting to be worn that were perfect for the Pantone-inspired spring colour challenge hosted by Literate & Stylish and The Modern Austen, like my lemon-zest crochet top and the piece I chose for today’s colour: poppy red. I had an outfit styled in my mind, and then, last night when I went shopping at VV Boutique to celebrate my first guest post, I found a last-minute-game-changing piece: mint jeans.
Just in case you aren’t convinced that these colours “go,” I pulled out a spring scarf that I picked up with my favourite Marcie during the 2012-OT-Reunion-Shopping-Tour.
THAT is how to do a trend, ladies! For less than a latte, I can enjoy my mint pants with nothing to lose no regrets. Those last-minute-game-changers always seem to have a happy ending!
My poppy-mint duo wraps up an awesome week of colour! Thanks so much for the inspiration Heidi and Marissa! I look forward to clicking through the other links this weekend!

Favourite Megan here – WILDLY jealous of that Fossil bag. I love love love everything Fossil. I’m also open to receiving second hand gifts, you know, when you get tired of that bag because the pattern isn’t really good on you 😐
