I spent Saturday helping out my sister at the Pride Festival in Edmonton.  By “help” I mean I spent 8 hours admiring her jewelry and plotting which pieces would come home with me!  Since the Edmonton Pride Festival is June 5-14th, I thought pride would make the perfect prompt for the Monday Style Prompt.  Before I reveal my rainbowiest (I’m pretty sure that’s a word) outfit, a word about Pride in case you’re wondering…  I am not gay and I am a Christian so if you think that means I shouldn’t support Pride, you might as well click on your way.  My mission is to love others and this is just one act of many where I do just that.  Love others.  And, less nobly, love awesome thrifted dresses.

You can’t go wrong with thrifted dresses in the summer, especially longer ones (because you don’t have to shave your legs, in case that’s not obvious)!!

Love this easy-wearing dress!

At thrifted prices, there’s no risk in trying different styles and bright colours!  Did YOU show some Pride yet?!  It’s not too late and it doesn’t have to be through clothes, just show some love to your neighbour!

Your rainbowiest style makes me smile. Loving all our neighbours is also a reason to smile.
