In the past couple of years, the fashion industry has become more attuned with the needs of consumers that support sustainability, which is major improvement from a decade ago when many believed that fur and leather were the definition of trendy. With the increased awareness of the origins of clothing, not only are men and women shopping for ethical brands, but they’re also visiting thrift shops and consignment stores, adding a unique as well as moral sense of style to their wardrobe. There are so many reasons why thrift shopping is amazing, as pointed out by Huffington Post; the clothes are inexpensive, plus you never know what treasures you will find!

But the level of randomness of these finds can be a bit difficult to blend in with your existing clothes if you’re not an experienced vintage shopper. To do so with as much ease as possible, it might be helpful to turn to bingo.

While a lot of us will probably look to Instagram and online fashion publications for inspiration, bingo offers simplicity in that it takes away the thought process involved in picking your #OOTD! In fact, fashion experts have long been obsessing with the game, as they come up with their own variations, such as Wardrobe Bingo and NYFW Bingo. With the fashion industry focusing much more attention on bingo, gaming operators are now attracting a new market of beauty and fashion conscious players by hosting UK TV fashion guru John Scott and several others on Gala Bingo.

To play this thrift store version of the game, you’ll need to collect five items of tops, bottoms, shoes, bags and accessories, incorporating a few vintage items per category. Snap photos of the chosen clothes and accessories, then organize each category in columns to create a visually appealing card. Number all items per column from 1 to 5, and roll a die five times to generate your outfit. Any time you roll 6, feel free to choose any item within that particular category.
