Seems so long ago I was driving out of California heading to Arizona!
My hubby and I decided to forego Vegas and instead take a “little” detour through Arizona so we could see Monument Valley! Hence the first stop on our journey home was not Vegas but Flagstaff!! #practicallyexactlythesame We arrived in Flagstaff pretty late so while my family watched hotel TV (which somehow seems like THE BEST), I searched for little thrift and decided to use my Arizona thrift stop on the Cedar Closet Thrift Shop.
Like many little community thrift shops, this one is run by volunteers and the proceeds benefit a local charity – Operation School Bell. I met such lovely ladies when I stopped in!
These volunteers through the Assistance League in Flagstaff so obviously loved what they were doing, it made the thrift stop a true pleasure. “This is what I do for my fun time” – I can only hope I say the same thing in my retirement years!!
I ended up getting a couple of pieces for myself without trying them on till later…
If I lived in Flagstaff, the Cedar Closet would be in my regular rotation of thrift stops!! Good cause, fun thrift hunting – this is the kind of place where one day you’ll find a priceless designer piece!! I have a feeling! So if you live in Flagstaff, go there! And if not, go to your nearest little thrift!

What a lovely little store. A clean and bright thrift store is so important to me. And no “thrift store ” smell. We have a couple of charity ones in my area that meet the criteria and have great volunteers as well. Love your blog!
Why thank you for your compliment! It made my day!!
