It’s true. I already spent my March $50 thrifting budgetand went to a clothing swap but I happened to have a spare hour today and accidentally went to the thrift store. And the rest is history…
My big sis, Shannon, found these GORGEOUS mint-condition Miz Mooz peep toe leather wedges for me for $18!! Bestill my heart! Miz Mooz is my fave brand! And Shannon, you’re simply my favourite. xoxoxoI popped in to VV Boutique to look for light wash skinnies to replace my current pair which are threatening to fall apart at any second… Instead I found regular wash skinnies for $4.90! What’s a girl to do?!!I also chanced upon this cute fringey top for $3.50… 1. I don’t have any fringe, 2. fringe is still going strong, and 3. I liked the length and shape of this top! My photographer *could* have mentioned that it was see-through. Er, I will address that next time I wear it.I’m a sucker for bracelets and these gorgeous bangles are glass! I know because I actually bought FOUR and tragically dropped one on the tile. Then there were three, for $2.10 total!I’m also a sucker for anything Anthropologie thrifted and anything green and any comfy skirt so OF COURSE I *had* to have this Charlie & Robin tile quilted pencil skirt for $7.
And the piece de resistance, as if all this weren’t fabulous enough…
A camel DANIER LEATHER jacket – fits me perfectly, in mint condition for $17.50!!!!! There were a couple little marks on the jacket but I have since wiped them off and presto, no trace of anything! The upcoming hockey tournament this weekend suddenly got a lot more stylish for Mommy!
That’s my full confession, $53 dollars worth, and worth every penny! I thought about declaring April a “no-shopping month” then Shannon laughed at me and I came to my senses. My contingency fund is dwindling but Mother’s Day is coming soon! I just have to make it through April!
