Let’s call a spade a spade. These pants were in the “vacation lounge-wear” section at VV Boutique and they are basically glorified sweatpants.

But, in efforts to be mindful about my thrifting purchases and my wardrobe in general, I’m spending February making sure there are lots of ways I can style my selections. Let’s call a spade a spade: I’m playing dress up like a 5-year-old. Just like with my Anthro sweater, I aimed to style these printed joggers for casual, work-appropriate and fancy outfits… (loosely termed!)
CASUAL

Chambray is the great equalizer of outfits! It dresses fancy pieces down, it dresses casual pieces up. It looks good buttoned, unbuttoned and with or without scarves or necklaces. It was the obvious choice for a casual look with these pants.

WORK WEAR

FANCY
I only planned to try 4 outfits but as it turns out, thanks to my roomie taking the kids out for the evening, I get to have a date with Mr. Style! I asked him which look he liked best and he replied my velvet blazer, which didn’t even make the first cut. But Date Night is worthy of velvet and velvet is fancy. So here’s what I’m actually wearing IRL right now.

As with my Anthro sweater, I *could* keep going – in fact, that Anthro sweater would look fab with these Anthro printed joggers – but I have a date to get to!
