On the eight day of Christmas, my true love (thrifting) gave to me… striped dress with pockets! Or, ketchup and mustard! Or, old dress styled ne-ew! Any 5-syllable description will do.
Today’s agenda included a trip to the swimming pool followed by a casual Christmas party so I needed something easy to get into wet but still cute and comfy! Enter the jersey dress with pockets! I vowed to style my “old” dresses in new ways and despite my fondness for the classic ketchup/mustard colour combo, I’ve never worn this dress with a mustard cardi… till now!
See those mustard boots in the background? I almost wore those today then decided it was too MMS (Matchy Matchy Syndrome). Mustard boots or brown boots, this was a new Dressember take on a dress I’ve worn many times so I consider it an 8th Dress of Christmas success!
… mustard Mary Poppins, red geese a-flying, VINCE golden sheath…. grey polka dots, turtleneck and dress, tunic with a scarf, and a dress from Salvation Army!
